Your session is built around who you are and what makes you feel most happy and comfortable. We can be as creative and extra or as simple and easygoing as you prefer. Milestones
Every step of the growing process
Growing families are one of my favorite memories to preserve. So much changes so quickly and all of those memories are so incredibly important.
Growing bumps, tiny newborns, first year milestones, and that growing family bond are all so precious. There are so many different moments worth preserving when it comes to a growing family and so many different ways a family can grow. There are some typical session types that are popular but that doesn't mean you have to fit perfectly within one of those in order to book a session!
For sessions where timing is important please send me a message ahead of time so we can make sure to capture the milestone in the way you're expecting!
Maternity sessions tend to be scheduled between 30-34 weeks and newborns are scheduled within the first 3 weeks of life. Please contact me around 20 weeks if possible for ease of scheduling!

Weddings
Big or small, quiet and intimate or wild and crazy, your wedding day is a completely unique once in a lifetime event you share with the person you love. This day means the absolute world to you and your partner and I’m so excited to preserve that memory for you and your families for generations to come.
My goal on your wedding day is to pause in time the day you have been so carefully planning for months. My couples often are surprised by how much of a whirlwind their wedding day is and thank me for catching even the smallest moments they may have missed during the course of the day.
Your day is completely personal and so is the photography package that will best fit you. Let's chat and figure out how best I can serve your day!

Personal Projects
For the past 5+ years this project has been slowly taking form. It has taught me so much and allowed my creativity to flourish. For the first time I feel comfortable beginning to share this project more openly and allow inquiries for participation. Daydreams and Nightmares can mean something different to each individual and I am excited to see how the project moves forward. All are welcome to propose ideas though artistic license remains with the photographer. No idea is a bad idea but there is only so much time in my schedule to allocate to personal projects.

Where are you located?
I serve mostly central Maine and the surrounding areas but would love to travel!
Why should I hire you?
Without going too overboard cheesy, i wholeheartedly care that your experience is great and that you walk away with a gallery you absolutely love. I go above and beyond for my clients and strive to make your session personal and enjoyable.

How long have you been a photographer?
I have been focused on educating myself and growing my skills for the past 7+ years.
When are you currently booking for?
I currently have availability through summer, fall, and winter 2022. Weddings and newborns books are also open for 2023.
What if my kids are little and wild?
Listen, kids are absolutely my jam and I can promise that I'll get you great results even if it doesn't feel like it at the time. I keep realistic expectations with little kids and with that I'll for sure get at least some "perfect" images, but I'll also show your kids true personality and my clients absolutely love the laughs and true memories that come from those images. Some kids take time to warm up, some kids just want to play, and some kids Absolute worst case if your child just isn't having a good time there may be discussion of a reschedule.
Do you offer payment plans?
I absolutely do! I can't work for nothing of course but I am more than happy to work with you so that you can have the images you want in a manner that fits your budget. This may mean paying slowly over time before your session, booking a Mini instead of full session, or splitting a session with a friend or relative!
Weddings
How long do you normally stay on the wedding day?
Typically for a full coverage wedding package I will stay around 8 hours and get every step of the process from getting ready to reception. Some couples are interested in more or less coverage through the day and I'm happy to discuss what fits best for you!
What steps do you take to prepare for my wedding?
After booking my couples receive questionnaire(s) that help me get to know you and get all the details of your wedding day so i don't miss any of the special things you've planned. From there I ask questions and work with you to fine tune your schedule for the day. This schedule isn't something to be stressed about, we will just use it to set realistic expectations to keep everyone as stress free as possible and provides an outline so everything goes as smoothly as possible! I'll send you a personalized itinerary with your schedule and important wedding day details. I personally keep these info sheets on me on your wedding day to have quick access to them throughout the day. From booking to delivery of your gallery I am available to discuss any plans and answer any questions you have. my goal is to make sure you get more than you could have ever hoped for from your final gallery! Even more goes into preparation for your day than I can fit here, I'm happy to answer any of your questions if you're on the fence!
Scale of 1-10 how awkward is this going to be?
If you met me on the street I'd probably hit 10 on that scale easy, but (to totally toot my own horn) book a session or your wedding with me and you'll find that I have a way with making people comfortable and making it a fun experience for us all. I go out of my way to make photos easy and painless for even the most camera shy of people. Just come with a good attitude and we'll wind up having a blast!
Newborn
What is the ideal timeframe for a newborn session?
The ideal timeframe for newborns is around 12 days old if you are looking for those pinterest worthy posed images. Past that date we can still work to get the posed images but baby may be less flexible and sleepy so the focus may shift to more lifestyle relaxed images. Don't panic if your baby is older than the idea timeframe, we can still work and get great images of your new baby that you will cherish forever!
Do those crazy poses hurt baby? How do you get them to balance like that?
Safety is the absolute priority in any session of mine, especially when it comes to your brand new baby. I have invested heavily into newborn safety education and will never put your baby into a position they are not comfortable with. The curled up poses I use closely mimic the positions baby was in in the womb and even the most patient photographer won't be able to calm an uncomfortable baby if they don't like the position they are in. if there are any moments that you find yourself uncomfortable with the posing I am doing I will absolutely stop and move on with zero judgement. Additionally it is important to note that any pose where baby looks balanced is a composite image. This means I have taken several photos of baby supported in different ways and combined them in photoshop to make sure they are safe and never left in a position they could fall and injure themselves from.
All these milestones are important to us, doesn't the price tag get expensive quickly?
